Outside of the music career, Chuck D released his autobiography Autobiography of Mistachuck in 1996. In 1999, he set up a multi-format “supersite” on the website Rapstation.com, which provided a place to share a lot of content online, including modules such as celebrity interview, free MP3 downloads, social commentary, etc. Since then, Chuck D has been working for online peer-to-peer file sharing in music industry. In 2011, he re-recorded a cover of Fight the Power with The Dillinger Escape Plan. In 2016, D joined Prophets of Rage with B-Real and former members of Rage Against the Machine.

EDDIE MURPHY

Eddie Murphy is considered one of the best when it comes to comedy. When Eddie Murphy was 15 years old, he was influenced by Richard Pryor’s comedy album and determined to become a comedian. In the earlier part of his career, he used to be part of Saturday Night Live. He also kept him and his family from the clutches of bankruptcy with his work as a standup comedian.

She contributes celebrity columns to entertainment magazines every week. On her 50th birthday, the Asbury Park City Council in New Jersey changed the name of the street where she grew up to Wendy Williams Way.

MIKE MYERS

The actor, Mike Myers is one of Hollywood’s premier actors. His voice can be heard in the animated movie franchise Shrek. Of course, who would forget the iconic character of Austin Powers and his arch-nemesis Dr. Evil! Myers made his career began in many advertisements when he was a child. His TV debut was in 1988, Myers performed in the Saturday Night Live and he became famous for it. Later, he starred in films like Wayne’s World, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Inglourious Basterds etc, which strengthened his position.

However, there’s a huge drop in demands for his talents in recent years and projects came lesser and lesser throughout the years. For most stars, that will be a cause of a major panic but Myers may have planned ahead and placed smart investments for his future. MATTHEW FOX

Fans widely recognized Matthew Fox as Charlie Salinger of the American teen drama Party of Five. He continued his streak of success as Jack Shephard in the famous series Lost from 2004 until 2010. After a few years, he reunited with the co-creator of Lost in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Aside from acting, he also produced his own show called Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan where he travels into exotic locations around the globe. In 2019 Monaghan starred in the film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Based on how things running, he will not need any kinds of loans for his finances.

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT

Jennifer Love Hewitt has everything that it takes to be successful in Hollywood. She got the looks, wits, and the charisma that will put her on the top of Hollywood A-listers. Before we know her as the actress that she is today, she started her career as a young actress and appeared in numerous commercials in the past. LEELEE SOBIESKI

Leelee Sobieski, whose full name is Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta “Leelee” Sobieski. Her mother is a producer and screenwriter. When Sobieski was 10 years old, she was discovered by talent scout in school thus starting her acting career. She got her ticket to stardom thanks to her role in movies such as Deep Impact, Never Been Kissed, Eyes Wide Shut and The Glass House.

She also portrayed Joan of Arc in a three-part television miniseries, where she earned prestigious nominations to the Emmys and the Golden Globe. The actress still worked in films and television shows until 2012 and focused all of her investments in her art career. At a young age of four, she already had a couple of commercials under her name which paved the way towards her stardom in the coming years. Her talent soon became apparent and after spending time in minor roles in the past, she finally grabbed a spot in the limelight with her role in My Stepmother Is an Alien.

She then joined the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Willow Rosenberg. There, she found Alexis Denisof, who became her other half. After that, Hannigan’s works include American Pie, How I Met Your Mother, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and so on. DAVE CHAPPELLE

Dave Chappelle possesses one of the most unique skill sets in this bunch. He is not only a successful actor, but he’s also a well-respected standup comedian that brought home numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including a pair of Emmy Awards and three Grammys. Chappelle started his career in high school, when he performed comedy shows in nightclubs. In an interview later, Chappelle mentioned that his comedy performance was greatly influenced by Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, etc.

During the 90s, Chappelle appeared in a couple of successful movies, including Mel Brooks’s 1993 film Robin Hood: Men in Tights and The Nutty Professor alongside Eddie Murphy. In 2016, he, his lawyers and manager received a hefty $20 million deal with Netflix for his comedy specials. Now that’s a deal that may be hard to beat. In 2020 Chappelle’s Netflix special won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

CALISTA FLOCKHART

Born in 1964, Calista Flockhart has loved acting since childhood. She wrote a play called Toyland and performed it when she was a child. Flockhart studied acting at the university. For about ten years after graduating, she has been playing some small roles and kept unknown. During this period, she worked as waiter and aerobics coach to make ends meet. Flockhart’s debut on screen is Guiding Light. She rose to fame thanks to her part as the lovely lawyer in her titular role in Ally McBeal.

During this run, she consistently got herself accolades and recognition from her peers bringing in nominations from various award-giving bodies and cashing in a couple of awards along the way. She also starred in Brothers & Sisters and Supergirl. After her successful stay in Ally McBeal, fans expected that her Hollywood stock will rise, but she only managed to grab a couple of significant roles. JACK NICHOLSON

Born in 1937, Jack Nicholson is an actor, director and producer. He is one of those personalities that will surprise us especially if we tell you that it has been ages since we last saw him in action. He’s so popular and was part of many movies, we can barely tell if he’s still active or not. Nicholson’s early acting career did not develop well, so he switched to be a screenwriter. His first successful screenplay was The Trip.

Later, he gradually appeared in some famous works such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Shining and gained his fame. Even if he’s retired or not, it will not change the fact that he’s one of the best actors out there in Hollywood. Nicholson might have a good investment plan and that probably allowed him to retire early without anyone noticing it. However, many fans still wanted to see him in a couple of movies in the future. Only time will tell.

KEL MITCHELL

In 2019, Mitchell became the young pastor of a church in Los Angeles. Overall, he has lived up to the expectations of his peers in the industry and never faced any issues with his finances because of his excellent money management skills.

GEENA DAVIS

If there’s any strong and genuine woman out there in Hollywood, Geena Davis might be on the top of everyone’s lists. Over the years, she showed what a woman can do in the entertainment scene and she has all the accolades to go along with it. Because of the personality she portrayed, she often plays characters that have strong personalities.Geena wanted to be an actor since she was a child. In her high school, Geena was excluded by her classmates because of her height.

She began her early career as a waiter. Later she became a model, working for victoria’s secret. Geena’s film debut was in Tootsie. DENNIS FRANZ

Dennis Franz became a household name during the 90s when he accepted the role of Andy Sipowicz in the hit drama NYPD Blue. This role helped him get a couple of awards and nominations such as Primetime Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and one from Golden Globe. That goes to show how effective Franz’s acting was! Franz started his acting career in 1972, when he joined the Organic Theatre Company. His first appearance on screen was in the movie The Last Affair.

Franz’s other famous works include Hill Street Blues, Dressed to Kill and Die Hard 2. Soon after the show went off the air, he decided to hang his gloves and went on for his retirement. He finally had all the time in the world for his family and loved ones. Reports suggest that every summer, Franz and his family retreat in their real estate investment, a precious lake house in Idaho.

KARYN PARSONS

Born in 1966, Karyn Parsons dreamed of becoming an actor at the age of 13. Parsons has the potential to be one of the best in the industry. However, She decided to law low from the limelight and focus elsewhere. She made her TV debut in 1987, where she appeared in the series The Bronx Zo. For those who don’t know who she was, she’s one of the main stars of the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as Hilary Banks.

She then worked as a writer and producer in Lush Life. After a few years, she starred alongside Denis Leary in the critically acclaimed series The Job. In 2020, Parsons starred in the film Sweet Thing. Apart from her acting career, Parsons is also a writer. KELLY MCGILLIS

Kelly McGillis, born in 1957. McGillis worked as a waiter early in her career to make ends meet. Later, Duvall starred in the movie Thieves Like US, 3 Women, The Shining, etc. She also hosted SNL in1977. Duvall was one of the top personalities in Hollywood a couple of decades ago. She easily got herself a couple of awards including Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress, Peabody Award, a pair of Emmy nominations and BAFTA Award nomination.

NICK STAHL

Nick Stahl has been acting since his childhood days but only entered the mainstream media with his minor role in Stranger at My Door. For those who love the 90s tragic love story classic Titanic, we bet that you will recognize Billy Zane as the actor that played the infamous millionaire antagonist Caledon Hockley. For those who are not in the loop, he is the fiancé of Rose, the character played by Kate Winslet. He was so hated at that time, Zane was even nominated for an MTV Movie Award nomination for “Best Villain” Award.

Zane’s other famous works include Back to the Future, Dead Calm, Twin Peaks, etc. He had a decent run throughout his acting career and worked as the executive producer in a couple of projects in the past. Zane is still active on the screen. This year his films include Guest House, Final Kill and Ghosts of War. JESSE EISENBERG

We all know Jesse Eisenberg played a huge part in the success of the hit heist thriller Now You See Me franchise back in 2013 and 2016. She first rose to prominence thanks to her part as Kristen Parker in the 1987 horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.

LARK VOORHIES

For those who loved sitcoms back in the late 80s and early 90s, we are sure that you guys remembered the classic NBC show Saved by the Bell. You also probably remembered the show Good Morning, Miss Bliss and they had one thing in common. The programs showed how great Lark Voorhies was. Yes, on both shows, she portrayed Lisa Turtle as she rose to fame and built up her credit report. She got nominated a couple of times for her performance and eventually got the prize in 1990 and 1993.

The show went off-air after a few years, and Voorhies found herself in small projects and minor roles. Voorhies also appeared in music videos such as On Bended Knee, These Are the Times and Never Too Busy. We last saw her in 2012 in the movie Little Creeps and shifted her focus in writing books. Overall, she had three books with her name on it Trek of the Cheshire, Reciprocity, and A True Light.

MARTIN LAWRENCE

Martin Lawrence whose full name is Martin Fitzgerald Lawrence. Born in 1965, he was one of the top actors during the 90s with numerous projects left and right. He was famous for the films like What’s Happening Now, Bad Boys, House Party and so on. That decade was very fruitful for his career and he amassed huge wealth and he probably needed help from a financial advisor just to sort out his finances and cash flow.

It was that decade also that he had his own sitcom named after himself that was shown in televisions for a total of five seasons. Things are looking in the right direction until controversies started to appear that might have affected his overall career status. Because of the legal issues, he decided to branch out his knowledge and worked behind the scenes as a producer. Good Thing, we saw Lawrence again on screen in 2020, when he appeared in Bad Boys for Life alongside Will Smith.

RANDY QUAID

Randy Quaid made a huge noise in Hollywood during the 70s until the 80s. He became one of the most sought actors at that time and a huge reason for that is his style that encompasses both dramatic and light-hearted comedy. He picked up a couple of nominations back in the days for his role in the film The Last Detail. He later won the Golden Globe Best Actor Award for his portrayal of President Lyndon Johnson in the hit television movie LBJ: The Early Years.

Quaid’s other famous movies include Midnight Express, Kingpin and Days of Thunder. Unfortunately, he was tangled up with a couple of legal issues in the latter part of his career. He and his lawyers sued the production team of the movie Brokeback Mountain for misrepresenting the flick as “low-budget.” After a few years, he entered the music scene along with his band, Randy Quaid & The Fugitives.

Her performance on-stage marked the beginning of a fruitful career for Barton in the Tony Kushner’s Slavs! She also followed it up with her successful part in Queen Sized and Huge, where she got nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star.

All of her achievements have one thing in common and that’s her natural talents when it comes to acting and singing. She also appeared as Susan Walker in Miracle on 34th Street and Matilda Wormwood, the sweet little kid with psychokinetic abilities in the 1996 children’s movie Matilda.

Her last major role on screen was in Thomas and the Magic Railroad and she turned her back away from the limelight after that. However, she made a comeback after a few years of living a normal life as a voice talent. She also put a lot of investments in her career as an internet career. Wilson is also a screenwriter and writer, owning works ‘Sheeple’ and ‘Where Am I Now?: True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame’.

JONATHAN BENNETT

Jonathan Bennett was discovered by a talent scout on a train. He rose to prominence thanks to his role as Aaron Samuels in the teen comedy film Mean Girls. For that movie, he received two nominations, one for Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Chemistry that he shared with his fellow star Lindsay Lohan and the other one was for Teen Choice Award for Choice Breakout Movie Star – Male. It seems like it was the start of a fruitful career until things started to slow down for him during the late 2000s.

Jack Gleeson, born in 1992, he made his film debut in the film Reign of Fire. Later, he appeared in films like Batman Begins, Shrooms and A Shine of Rainbows. Gleeson gained his fame in 2011. There are times in Jack Gleeson’s career that he was considered as one of the most hated characters on the face of the planet. That’s because of his excellent portrayal of King Joffrey Baratheon on the hit series Game of Thrones. Single-handedly, he managed to crawl under the skin of his audience with his spotless acting.

Probably that time, he also had a couple of home security systems installed in their house to protect his family’s safety. That’s how convincing his acting skills are. After the show ended, he decided to slow down a bit and focus on Collapsing Horse Theatre Company as their founder and producer. In 2020, Jack Gleeson announced that he will return to television.

JONATHAN TAYLOR THOMAS

During the 90s, Jonathan Taylor Thomas was living the life that most teenagers only dream off. He’s probably the most famous teenage celebrity out there during that time. He can be seen in movies and his voice can also be heard in animated films such as the 1994 animated film The Lion King as he lent his voice for the young Simba. He also voiced Shoukichi in Pom Poko and in The Adventures of Pinocchio. He also appeared in more than a hundred episodes of Home Improvement as Randy Taylor.

After about a decade in the industry, he decided to live a normal life and left Hollywood for the time being. We are sure he’s well equipped with proper money management skills as there were no reports out there that he filed any bankruptcy reports over the years. He went to Harvard University to study history and philosophy. Later in 2016, Thomas directed an episode of Last Man Standing, and then we never heard from him again.

Grenier is also committed to environmental protection. In 2017, Grenier was appointed as the UN Goodwill Ambassador.

AARON ECKHART

Aaron Eckhart’s life and career can be described as a roller coaster ride. He had his ups and definitely had his down moments especially during the early part of his career. After he graduated from BYU with a degree in Fine Arts, Eckhart moved to New York in the hopes of finding a decent job. However, lady luck wasn’t on his side that time and he only managed to grab occasional openings as a bartender, bus driver, and as a construction worker.

With enough perseverance and dedication, he managed a commercial gig in the mid-90s, and that’s when fortune started to favor him. Then in 1997, Neil LaBute approached Eckhart and offered him a role in In the Company of Men. The rest is what they called history! His films include Nurse Betty, Erin Brockovich, etc. In 2006, Eckhart starred in the film Thank You For Smoking and was nominated for Golden Globe. He also starred in The Dark Knight, which was a big breakthrough.

ALEX PETTYFER

The British actor and model Alex Pettyfer started off his career on small stages as school plays before jumping into the big screen. Pettyfer was a model when he was a child, he became a Gap model when he was seven years old. He starred in one film before getting the role of Alex Rider in the film adaptation of the action spy film Stormbreaker. Pettyfer was nominated for his troubles with a Young Artist Award and an Empire Award for his excellent performance.

With growing demands, he needed to hire a team that would take care of his paperwork. Years later, he, his lawyers and manager got the contract to be part of hit movies such as I Am Number Four, Beastly and Magic Mike. ARIANA RICHARDS

Kids that grew up during the 90s will love to hear that Ariana Richards has become a successful artist nowadays. For those who don’t know who Richards was, she’s the actress behind the character of Lex Murphy in the blockbuster sci-fi film Jurassic Park. Thanks to her part in the movie, she earned a Young Artist Awards for her effort. However, acting might not be her cup of tea after all.

After spending a few years in a couple of projects, she decided to step away from the limelight and live a normal life as a student. She later earned a degree in Fine Arts from Skidmore College, which helped her paved the way towards a successful career in visual arts. The last time we saw Richards on screen was in the movie Battledogs in 2013, and she has not appeared since. Now she spends her time in her art studio.

DYLAN AND COLE SPROUSE

Dylan Thomas and Cole Mitchell were American actors collectively known as the Sprouse brothers. They enjoyed a successful time under the limelight during the mid-90s until the late 2000s. They are famous for their performances in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. In 2005, they cooperated with the company and founded the Sprouse Bros brand to produce clothing, comics, magazines, etc.

They actually lived a pretty comfortable life during their childhood and teenage years thanks to proper money management and the big paycheck they got from Disney. Even though they were successful in their field, they decided to step away from the limelight and focused more on their education and college life. He’s most-remembered role was the time he spent as Paul Joshua Pfeiffer in the coming-of-age drama with a mix of comedy, The Wonder Years. He also appeared in The Wrong Guys and Camp Cucamonga.

Taylor Momsen has all the star potential to be one of the best actresses in Hollywood during the 2000s. She first appeared on television with a small role in Early Edition and only a couple of years later, became one of the most favorite newcomers in the industry. A big part of her success was her part in the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas as Cindy Lou Who. Within the same decade, she starred in Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey.

Momsen is also a model. She became a contract model when she was 14 years old and appeared in various magazines and brand promotions. After her contract ended, she decided to switch careers and focus more on her true passion, music. Her songs include Make Me Wanna Die, Just Tonight, Kill Me, etc and appear in various movies as episodes. We are sure she never faced any issues with her finances given her good money management skills.

STACEY DASH

Born in 1966, Stacey Lauretta Dash started her acting career very early. Dash didn’t have a good start in her career, but she eventually made a name for herself and established that she’s one of the top female celebrities in Hollywood. Maguire’s more notable role in the past was Peter Parker in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. Over the years, Sandler has also proven himself to be more than just a comedian through some of his serious films, including Uncut Gems, Reign Over Me, and Spanglish. Throughout his career, his works have grossed a whopping $2 billion at the box office.

Sandler made his start in the famous comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, where he performed as a cast member but was also hired to be a writer. It wasn’t until the latter part of the 1990s that Sandler would make a career breakthrough in films. In 2001, Jolie experienced a turning point in her life. While filming the movie Tomb Raider, she witnessed first-hand the hardships and troubles of a war-torn country like what Cambodia faces.

She then got in touch with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, or UNHCR, to learn about the special circumstances war-torn countries experience. Jolie would then start a new chapter in her life and embark on Humanitarian missions across the world to help war refugees. In the next decade, since she started her journey with the UNHCR, she participated in more than 40 field missions to over 30 countries. To her credit, in 2012, UNHCR named her Special Envoy to the High Commissioner.

BILLY DEE WILLIAMS

Billy Dee Williams is well known for his portrayal of the fictional character Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars franchise. Throughout his long career in acting, he has appeared in, more or less, 70 films. Apart from acting, Billy is also known for being a talented voice actor as he has lent his voice in video games and several animated series. What may come as a pleasant surprise to some is that Billy is also a talented painter.

He studied for his degree in the National Academy of Design and was interested in the classical principles of painting.  In the 1980s, Billy took a break from the film industry and decided to focus on his passion for painting. In the next two years, he made about 120 original works of art. One of his most notable artwork is a self-portrait he painted in 1993, and it is displayed in the Smithsonian Institute National Portrait Gallery.

BRAD PITT

Brad Pitt is a multi-award-winning celebrity. His accolades include two Academy Awards and three Golden Glove Awards. At the height of his popularity, he was cited by many as being the most attractive man in the world. Moreover, he was regarded as being one of the most powerful and influential people in Hollywood. Some of his films include Interview with the Vampire, Seven, Troy, 12 Years a Slave, 12 Monkeys, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Brad, apart from his passion for acting, has an interest in Architecture. He studied computer-aided design under renowned architect, Frank Gehry. CARRIE UNDERWOOD

Carrie Underwood was the 4th winner of the famous singing competition American Idol. With the popularity she gained from the contest, her debut album, Some Hearts, became the best-selling solo female debut album in the history of country music. The album’s commercial success earned her three Grammy Awards. Her succeeding album releases received equal acclaim and commercial success, cementing her spot in mainstream pop-culture.

Apart from her lucrative music career, Carrie also delves into other ventures. Thus far, she has signed multiple multi-million-dollar product endorsement deals. Christopher Walken was born in New York and initially worked as a lion tamer in a circus. He studied at Hofstra University but would later drop out after landing a role in a Broadway production. Christopher also attended dance classes in the Washington Dance studio before becoming an actor. He started his career in theater and would later transition to TV and gain relative success in the industry.

He transitioned in the TV scene during the Golden Age of Television and appeared in several variety shows and dramas. In the 1970s, he ventured into the film industry with his debut film, starring alongside Sean Connery, in The Anderson Tapes. In 1977, to his credit, Christopher was awarded an Academy Award for his performance in the movie The Deer Hunter. Thereafter, there was no stopping Christopher. He would go on to star in a ton of films, appearing in over 100 productions over his illustrious career. Described to be eccentric and diverse in his acting capabilities, he is considered to be one the most respected actors of his generation.

CLINT EASTWOOD

Clint Eastwood is a California native born in 1930. He grew up in a well-off family, held various jobs, including being a lifeguard, forest firefighter before being drafted into the US military. He started his acting career in the 1950s and would initially experience success in the Western TV series Rawhide. Clint then gained worldwide acclaim for his roles in the Spaghetti Western Dollar Trilogy. The success of his Western movies would effectively cement Clint’s name into Hollywood history.

Apart from being an actor, he is also a talented director. His movie, The Unforgiven, earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and a win for Best Director. He also directed movies such as Gran Turino, Million Dollar Baby, Letters from Iwo Jima, and American Sniper, among others. To his credit, he has won multiple accolades, including a Golden Lion Award and the Legion of Honour medal.

DANIEL CRAIG

Daniel Craig is known worldwide for his portrayal of the fictional British spy James Bond and is given credit for being the 7th actor to have the honor to play the iconic role. Daniel set himself apart from his predecessors with his rugged and gritty portrayal of the secret agent. His initial appearance as Bond was in Casino Royale, which earned critical acclaim and commercial success, Daniel is set to release his fifth reprisal as Bond with the movie, No Time to Die, set to be released this year.

Before Daniel made his career breakthrough, he was a struggling actor. Dr. Phil gives medical prescriptions and psychological advice to his patients.

Originally born as Reginald Kenneth Dwight, Elton John is an English singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist. He charted nine number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, some of which are Candle In the Wind and That’s What Friends Are For, led by Dionne Warwick.

However, in 1976, after his song Don’t Go Breaking My Heart topped most of the charts, John decided to take a hiatus in the music industry and give more attention to a soccer team he co-owned in England. This was also the time where he revealed that he was part of the LGBTQ community. In fact, John has been in a civil partnership with David Furnish since 2005 and eventually tied the knot in 2014. Robert Redford is one of the most decorated actors in the industry and with good reason. Over the years, he has received numerous accolades from the Academy Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, the British Academy Film Awards, the Cecile B. DeMille Award, and even a Presidential Medal of Freedom. He began his career in the 1950s and mostly did TV work in the beginning.
